But, here’s the bottom line when it comes to Core Web Vitals: at their core, they’re not about SEO. They’re about the usability of your site – so, SEO geek or not, this is an important topic to keep up with.

Sistrix just did a massive study, analyzing the loading times of 18.5M domains to determine which websites had the best core web vitals. The interesting part? They broke it down by CMS, comparing WordPress, Wix, Shopify, and others.

• If you care about your website speed and responsiveness…maybe don’t use Wix. I’m probably preaching to the choir here – if you’re deep into the website game, you’re likely not using Wix anyway – but the study confirmed that it was the worst platform where Core Web Vitals were concerned.
• WordPress and its plugin, WooCommerce, are both slow. Sites on WordPress took second-to-last place – and the WordPress shop plugin, WooCommerce, ranked last among the shop systems.
• Jimdo is fast. When it comes to a speedy CMS, Jimdo runs faster than Tom Cruise in a Mission Impossible movie. The fastest sites were also using the CDN Fastly.
